This EJ253 AVLS engine is a timing belt driven and not a chain driven. our inventory imports only premium quality Subaru motor from Japan. Like all of other motors, this one is fully tested and ready to be swapped in your vehicle. Please take note that the cam gear covers are broken and you can reuse from your old engine.
