All prices on this site are in Canadian dollars and exclude freight and applicable taxes. Freight is a flat $299 to any address in Canada, free on orders over $5,000, and is added at checkout.
Checkout takes payment when you place the order, and the flat $299 freight is already in the total you see before you confirm. There is no waiting on a freight quote. On engines and transmissions we verify the unit is on the shelf before it is crated, and if anything is not right we contact you and refund in full. Your 1–2 day handling window and the 2–7 business day total delivery clock both start when payment clears – not when the order is placed.
We will hold a unit against a deposit if you need time to arrange a shop booking, freight, or the balance of the funds. The deposit is credited in full against the purchase price. Free storage runs for 30 days; beyond that it is by arrangement. Deposits are refundable while the unit is still on the shelf and uncrated – once it has been crated and collected the Returns & Refunds policy applies.
If you are a repair shop, rebuilder or fleet operator buying regularly, call us about trade pricing and account terms. We would rather have a straightforward conversation about volume than run a tiered discount system nobody can follow.
GST and, where applicable, PST are applied at checkout according to the destination province. Registered resellers with a valid exemption certificate should contact us before ordering so we can set the account up correctly – we cannot retroactively remove tax from a completed order.
Card payments are handled by our payment processor over an encrypted connection; we never see or store your full card number. For high-value orders we may ask to verify the billing address or speak to you by phone before releasing the shipment. It is a five-minute call that protects both of us, and we do not skip it.
An itemised invoice showing the unit, engine code, freight and tax is emailed on payment. Keep it – a warranty claim needs it alongside your installation invoice. If you need it reissued or addressed to a business, email info@cowichansmallengines.ca with your order number.
